Back from Salt Lake and Michigan
Well the leaves are about gone and with the torrential downpour forecast for tomorrow it won't be long before they're gone. Jane and I spent a great week in Salt Lake City with Garrett Gunderson and his staff. While there we visited with Sean Stephenson, who is an amazing guy and we also met Bo Eason. Bo is the brother of the Patriots ex quarterback Tony Eason. Bo played for the Houston Oilers as a defensive safety. He has written and starred in a one man play called "Runt of the Litter". It was riveting performance. He has done over 1300 shows. Soon to be a movie and there are several actors vying for the lead. We all went to dinner at Zoom which is Robert Redfords resturant. It was great. Thanks to Garrett. Jane flew home and I headed to Michigan to play golf and play in the casinos for a week. I played 99 holes of golf in 5 days and made a nice sum playing poker. I got home Monday and have been extremely busy with the businesss. It is nice that it is an ELF business. That is Easy, Lucrative and Fun. Thanks Joe Polish and Piranha marketing as well as our fabulous staff of co-workers. The next trip planned is Oct 13 - 17th. We are going to Phoenix to the Cash Creation conference put on by Piranha Marketing. We are taking Nancy our office manager with us. She is very happy. Well thats it for now. Peace and prosperity Don

Phoenix and then Salt Lake
Hello everyone, Jane and I spent last week in Phoenix with our mastermind group from Piranha Marketing. The first day was a brainstorming session with the finalists from last years better your best competition. Every company got in the hot seat and told of a special challenge they were having with thier company. The rest of the group acted as marketing analysts and we critqued thier situations. It was very enlightening. A lot of great information was shared. This is the power of the group. The next three days were a fabulous learning experience. One of my favorite speakers was there. Sean Stephenson. He is such a great inspiration. Google Sean and watch some of his video on You Tube. It is mesmerizing. We flew to Salt Lake City on Sunday and spent two days with Garrett Gunderson and his staff. We actually stayed in his townhouse with his mother. What a first class lady she is. The two days we spent were part of our Freedom Fast Track program. We met with five proffessionals on Monday. It was a real eye opener. On Monday we spent half a day with Garrett and Dale Clarke. We believe we are now on the path to obtaining our soul purpose . There have been more opportunities that have opened up to us in the last year then ever be for. We will be going back in February for another visit. We are also goint to Bali for a week to spend time with Jon and Missy Butcher . They own Precious Moments collectables. Life is good. We could not do any of the things we do if it was'nt for the great staff we have running our business while we are away. Peace for now

crazy past two weeks
Hi all, The past two weeks have been unbeilavable. First I went to Michigan and spent a week with my old business partner Tony. This is a yearly event where we play golf in a nice resort area with 14 other guys and hit the casinos. I had my first hole in one at Moose Ridge golf course. 138 yd par three. My team won the scramble event and we split $1200. I also made about $400 at the casinos. I flew home on Monday and the next day Jane and I were off to Phoenix, Az. to the Rich Cleaner Conference and trade show. Every year Joe Polish who owns Piranha Marketing gives away a car to the company that betters it's best. This year our friends Rick and Sandy Raskob won and they won a new Land Rover. The car next year is a 1966 Shelby 427 Cobra! We are going to be competing like crazy to win next year. We were close this year as Jane won the essay contest and recieved a silver locket from Joe with his picture in it. I turn it around at night. LOL It was so cool to see how many people entered the contest this year. It is not about winning the car but if you complete the package you are a winner. Joe gave everyone 2 to 4 nights in a destination of thier choice. He always gives way more than he recieves. It has been an incredible association for Jane and I. We have met people that have totally changed our lives. This year we are working with Garrett Gunderson the author of Killing Sacred Cows. A must read if you have money in a 401K plan. While in Phoenix I played a round of golf with Dave Kieter and I shot a 78 in sandals and with rental clubs. It was the lowest round I have shot to date. It is so true that once you open your self to the universe that good things just seem to come your way. We also heard from Hugh Downs and Sean Stephenson both of whom are very inspirational speakers. If you don't believe me go to you tube and look up Sean Stephenson , he will absolutely blow you away. We have a lot of cool things planned for the near future , so stay tuned. Peace Don

Piranha Marketing Nashville trip
Hi everyone, Jane and I just returned from Nashville,Tenn. It was a trip sponsered by Piranha Marketing. The first day we were guests at the NASCAR racetrack where we watched the races. At the end of the night they held a raffle and the winners got to do four laps in a race car. Well, don't you know, Jane won and took the ride of her life She was very excited because she had always dreamt of being a race car driver and it gave her a taste of the thrill. The next day we went to the Dri-Eaz facility and spent the day in different discussions and seminars about water damage restoration and equipment. This was a very first class company. I can personally attest to the quality of Dri-Eaz products. In the last 22 years I have purchased many pieces of equipment from them and almost all of them are still in service. On day two we were guests of Baker/Curb racing. We went through thier facility where they fabricate race cars for thier team from the ground up. Gary Baker spoke to the group about the marketing aspects of racing and the philosophy that drives the program. It was worth the price of admission by itself. We toured Nashville that night . We went to BB Kings for dinner and Tootsies for the show. The CMA awards are going on this week-end and the town was crazy with country music fans. Jane and I took a bus tour on Wed and went to the Rymen auditorium and the Country Music Hall Of Fame. We were hustled inside a club on Honky Tonk Row by a young singer's grandfather. The singers name is Arron Kelly. He is a remarkable talent and you should keep an eye out for his rising star. Another memorable experience was walking through the Gaylord hotel. It is the largest covered hotel complex east of the Mississippi river. I believe it is about 60 acres. It has fabulous botantical gardens and waterfalls. Lunch at the Cascade resturant was great. We then went over to Bass Pro Shops main store and that to was was a lot of fun. Nashville was a great trip and I want to thank Joe Polish, Lisa Wagner and David Brinkley from Piranha Marketing for always delivering way more than expected. Also a very big thank you to Victoria who was a delight.
